Producing Phanta Morgana
This album came together by the efforts of friends all over the country working together, sometimes in person (which is the best), sometimes by snail mail, and sometimes by the internet (which has it's drawbacks and benefits). Pieces of the puzzle were assembled from such diverse locations as Vermont, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and California. The important thing is that the puzzle was finally completed. And given the chance to step back and listen, I don't hear us as spread out all over the country. I hear me and my band mates making the music come alive as if we were all together on the same stage. It lightens my heart to know that friendship is more powerful than the distance that sometimes separates friends.
